What is the Labor of love health challenge?

Over the past year, we launched a series of 21-day workout challenges with the goal of creating new healthy habits and redefining our relationship with moving our bodies. We were thrilled to have thousands of women sign up to get moving with us! After five successful 21-day challenge cycles we realized we were ready for more! We wanted to create a program that not only continues the evolution of “the self” but also dives deeper into the development of our health and wellness journey. The #LaborOfLove health challenge is a 90-day commitment to getting active by moving your body for at least 30 minutes per day, getting in the kitchen to learn how to make healthy meals you can enjoy, and working on your self-esteem and value system throughout the entire process.

Meet your CHALLENGE coaches

We are thrilled to have personal trainer and Peloton Instructor, Chase Tucker, as your digital coach for this health challenge! Chase is a former athlete from Chicago that has a passion for health and wellness but most of all he has a passion for helping people! I connected with Chase when I decided to challenge myself to complete 100 boot camp classes on the Peloton app. I had tried several different instructors on the app and loved taking Chase’s class because he was so positive and encouraging. We became friends on, and it was so motivating to receive a message from Chase cheering me on or even correcting my form from a video I posted! We quickly realized that we have very similar energy and teaching methods when it comes to helping people get healthy! Our conversations lead to this fantastic idea and Chase is going to be helping to teach you everything you need to know about moving your body and changing your mindset around getting healthy!

For those of you who may not be familiar with my story, I have had a long rollercoaster relationship with health and body image that has balanced out on a solid foundation of self-love for the last ten plus years! I have been every size from a size 14 to a size 6, and then all the way back up to 217 pounds when I was pregnant with my daughter, now I am back to my natural healthy size 10. Let’s face it, body image, health, diet, and wellness are extremely confusing in today’s social media world. Through this challenge, I am going to be helping to assist you in taking ownership of your mind, body, and spirit! We are going to open our minds to new ideas but tune into what feels right within. You don’t need people telling you how to live. You need people helping you discover for yourself what feels best! This health challenge is physical, but if we don’t focus on healing our mind and spirit as we move our bodies, we will never find the balance we are searching for.

Community is key

Most people aren’t successful in living a healthy lifestyle because they don’t have a support system or a healthy environment to assist them in creating a better life. That is where we come in! Our community of like-minded people is the force of positivity, love, and support you have been needing. It is okay if people in your life don’t support your health journey as long as you support your health journey! This group will be a place you can go for resources, ask questions, get advice, and meet friends who share the same goals.

What does the challenge include?

When you sign up for the challenge you will receive the following:

  • A fitness coaching plan created by Chase Tucker

  • 2-months free subscription to the Peloton App so you can workout with Chase daily in live classes or on demand

  • An invite into our Facebook group only accessible to our challenge participants

  • One video lesson per week from each coach teaching a direct lesson plan that will cover a variety of topics like:

    • Basic health and nutrition

    • Body Image

    • Media Manipulation

    • Diet Culture

    • How to make healthy foods taste amazing

    • The power of positive thinking

    • Accountability

    • Self-care

    • Gratitude and energy

    • The gift of giving

    • Access to weekly facebook live videos with your coaches to ask questions and share your progress and setbacks.

    • Email updates with informational articles, inspiring quotes, and tips to stay motivated.

How much is it?

The 90 days will be broken down into three 30 day cycles. Each 30-day cycle is $100 to join. Here is the best part, 100% of the proceeds will be donated to charity! Yep, Chase and I are giving our time, energy, and knowledge to help people like you, who are looking for a positive shift to take place in your life. Your $100 is then going to complete a full circle and help others in need. Isn’t that a beautiful thing?!

where will the money be donated?

When you sign up for the challenge you will need to fill out a form. One of the questions we ask is, are there any charities that you feel passionate about? We have not settled on one charity and we would like to learn about causes and charities that you feel called to help. Together we can decide where the proceeds will go! Throughout the process we will be 100% transparent with the amount of sign-ups we receive and the total amount of money raised. When we decide on where the money will be donated, we will document the process so you can see and be apart of it from start to finish!

What is the meaning behind the name, Labor of Love?

The definition of, "labor of love" is a task done for pleasure, not reward. When you give your all to something or someone, not because you are going to gain anything in return, but because you have something they need, that is the most beautiful labor of love. Chase and I have knowledge and experience that could help you on your journey which brings us great pleasure to be of service in that way. By signing up, you are then paying it forward every day when you make choices to care for your mind, body, and spirit. It won’t always be easy, but it will be a labor of love. Together, we will complete a full circle and create a powerful shift by working to heal ourselves and sharing our abundance with those in need in our community.
